and what can it do?
The DSS Transform App allows employees to check-in, voluntarily, with updates about their health and ability to work during this health crisis. They can also inform their management and other employees about potential risks or have a means of getting in touch with their management team or COVID-19 taskforce. It also provides managers and the HR function a real-time view of the status of employees.
Some microlearning modules are also accessible via the platform so employees can learn more about COVID-19, how to prevent infection, how to work remotely in an effective manner and how to better manage stress during this difficult period.
Also, the module allows for monitoring travel, and provides a mechanism for travel approvals. It also provides an overview of all travel across impacted and non-impacted countries.
Another useful functionality related to restart & recovery. Site managers fill out simple checklists related to their area of operations, building on DSS experience in operational risk management and operations start-up. Senior Management can then collect this data and determine which gaps need to be addressed in order to have an effective restart.
How does it work?
The COVID-19 Module is available as a web application or as an app for either iOS or Android devices. Employees open the module, and complete a simple form on a daily basis, reporting any changes to their health and well-being or any potential risks they may have faced. If a change is reported, managers can receive a notification immediately.
The premise for the other functionalities is the same: employees fill out a simple form, and the data is collected and displayed to management in a highly-intuitive, visual manner.
